J. Herbert Crompton, formerly buyer for the L. Bauman Jewelry Co. for six years, has taken a position as sales manager and jewelry department manager for William Weidlich & Bro. Henry F. Hines, who makes the jobbing points for the firm, is visiting the factory of the Weidlich Bros Mfg. Co., at Bridgeport, Conn., getting his Spring lines ready. Mr. Shaw, who formerly traveled in the west for the International Silver Co., Meriden, Conn., has joined the traveling force of the Weidlich company.

William Weidlich, of Weidlich Bros. Mfg. Co., of Bridgeport, Conn., spent several days last week with their representatives, Henry Hines and Harold Green, who have their display at the Palmer House.
President Louis Weidlich, president of Weidlich Bros. Mfg. Co., Bridgeport, recently announced the appointment of William B. Griffin as vice president. Mr. Griffin was former sales and advertising manager of the Holmes & Edwards Silver Co., until 1930, when he was transferred to Meriden to become general manager of the William Rogers Mfg. Co. division, Factory H of International Silver Company.
Charles Weidlich, of the Weidlich Bros. Mfg. Co., Bridgeport, Conn., has been visiting his brother, William Weidlich, in St. Louis during the past week.
The Warner Silver Co., Bridgeport, has flied a certificate of incorporation in the office of the State secretary. The concern will manufacture silver-plated ware. The capital is $5,000 and the business will be started with $2,000. The incorporators are Louis Weidlich, H. C. Weidlich and Arthur M. Comley.
