Extensive alterations in Krementz & Co.’s jewelry factory at the corner of Mulberry and Walnut Sts., Newark, N. J., are now in progress. A portion of the front of the building is to be changed and the first floor is to be lowered. A new oak staircase from the first floor to the second is to be built, and a large fire proof vault for the storing of valuables is to be built, running from the first to the third floor.

E. J. Franklin & Co., of North Attleboro, have secured from Krementz & Co. the sole right to manufacture the well-known Krementz one-piece collar button in rolled plate. They have placed seven sizes on the market.
