NA Squash Blossom Necklace

Post by JLDoggett »

Something I picked up recently and I can not find anything about the maker. It is handmade, not cast; marked W. HALEY and STERLING; the metal tests to between 900-925 in quality strung on a fine cable chain. Oddly there are 4 iron/steel (and rusty) links used in the piece. One at each end joining the second row of beads to the main strand and 2 at the clasp. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The maker is Willie Haley, Navajo. Maybe the rusty links are replacements?

Thanks! I plan on replacing them with sterling ones and keeping the steel ones with the piece just in case they were original. I found the drop that goes on the hook, it was removed to use to replace a matching lost earring to a pair that matched. Lucky for me they just added a wire to the drop.
