Hi,

The mark appears to be Spanish. In the small oblong box on the top right hand side of the 925 mark, you should find a letter and a number (e.g. M1 = Madrid-1), this will indicate the assay office and may assist with the identification on the maker (GH).

Hello, Thank you very, very much for your help, it was extremely useful. One more question I have: in your opinion when was it made (the year or period)? I listed one more photo with the hallmark. Thank you again.

I'm really not sure what letters/numbers that mark is supposed represent.

Hopefully one of our Spanish members can give us their thoughts.

Good afternoon, seeing no question marks are Spanish, the last quarter of s. XX. The initials remind me of a great silversmith Madrid that the making of the piece could be manufacturing Garrido Brothers, what surprises me is that they are made with chisel marks and not punch. I'm not entirely sure whether this silversmith but I transmit for investigation.

A greeting
