Maker of Scottish provincial teaspoon

Post by rat-tail »

Hi all - think this teaspoon might be Scottish provincial. Bottom marked and looks like IW or possibly HW - any thoughts or details of the maker appreciated - regards Frank

I would suggest a good bet would be James Wildgoose of Aberdeen who is known to have worked 1763-1795, style of spoon would also suggest that this would be around the date.
