KING, James (Grimwade p.571)

Post by buckler »

Grimwade gives James King I and James King II, but I am not entirely convinced they are not the same man.

Inland Revenue Board of Stamps transcript 171/205 of 1746 records the apprenticeship of a James King , son of James King to James Harmer of St Clement Danes ,Goldsmith

Inland Revenue Board of Stamps transcript 21/56 of 1757 records the apprenticeship of an Edward King to James King of Westminster ,Goldsmith.

A James King was fined for substandard buckles in 1763 -1769 period by Goldsmiths Hall
