I was wondering if anyone could identify the maker of this sugar bowl. The mark looks like PKU (with the K and U intertwined), although they could be different letters. I can't find it in the makers page on this site.

Makers mark?
Re: Makers mark?
Hello, that is K and U ligated, in a circle: Kaeser and Uhlmann from Schwaebisch-Gmuend. Founded in the early 1920ies (if I am not mistaken), merged (rather: was forced to merge, the owners being Jewish) with Wilhelm Binder in 1934. Kaeser and Uhlmann produced some strikingly modernistic pieces, the designer / designers of which are unknown. Best wishes, Bahner
