Danish spoon, 2 sets of marks

Post by jok23 »

I have this soup spoon which has marks for Copenhagen 1874 and a makers mark on the handle and then two other marks on the back of the bowl. I was wondering if anyone knows what the marks are, who made the spoon and where it was made.

Maybe one set are import or retail marks.

In 1859 the castle in Frederiksborg caught fire and was burned to the ground. When the castle was rebuild money was found in a lottery.
called ‘Kunstflidslotteriet'
'Bortlodningen af indenlandske Kas a short name. The official name was konst- og Konstflidsarbeider for at fremme Samvirken mellem Konst og Haandværk', translated into Art and artwork to promote the cooperation between art and handicraft.

And that was a poor translation. The man waling hall mark is that one. Maker you can find yourselves under Danish halmarks. 3 towers (with year of manufacture) - guardein and maker.
