Postby vadmaster » Wed Jun 02, 2010 5:50 pm

Anyone knows what 11L means? Is it solid silver or silver plated?

Thanks!

solid silver.
But not according to standard.
Standard is 13½ Lod, but in periods 11 is used. OK if marked.
Pure silver is 16 lod. To soft to use at 16=1000/1000
13½ is 13½ silver + 2½ cobber. 13½ is normal danish standard.
11 lod is 11 parts of silver and 5 parts of cobber.
