blade restoration - Lutz & Weiss (LW)

Post by Mariana Masson »

I have a Lutz & Weiss (LW) silver cutlery made after 1888. The silver is in very good shape, but the metal of the blades need to be restored or replaced. I need a recommendation of a reliable expert to do this job (US based preferable). Thanks

Hello

May I suggest to you: Please ask e.g. Gorham.

Look: http://www.gorham1831.com/

In Germany itself exist this kind of service in Solingen area and in Pforzheim/Stuttgart area as well.

If you like that your knifes would be restored maybe in Germany - I could publish here one, or two, or some adresses.

Actually I've notice, that Lutz & Weiss, Pforzheim doesn't any more exist?

Kind regards silverport

I have some knives with broken blades, and I would very much appreciate this information.

Thanks
