Hi everyone,
The closest I have come to is Joseph Mondinelli but the pictorial does not seem correct for him on this set?
I would appreciate any advice, the set also bears Minerva No.1
Thanks,
argentgirl :)

Hello and welcome.

I believe that mark was used by J. Megemond of Paris.

Thank you so much, I really need to invest in further French reference books.

Speaking of references, can anyone recommend a good source book for French silver? I have Tardy's, which is generally helpful with establishing country/region and date, but not maker.

Hi Doc,
I am asking around and will post back with some titles.
I think my struggle will be finding texts translated to english!

Hello.

I don't have the best reference books on French silver maker's marks.
The book I use most is pictured below.
It is a modest paperback and is in the French language.

Hope members more experienced with French silver books can provide you with better ideas.
