Red Bank, N. J.—Archibald Rutherford, member of the firm of Krementz & Co., manufacturing jewelers at Newark, N. J., until his retirement five years ago, died at his home here, Oct. 12.
Mr. Rutherford, aged 73, was a former president of the Philadelphia Jewelers' Club and a member of the Brotherhood of Traveling Jewelers. He was also active in civic and fraternal circles. Surviving is his widow, Mrs. Laura Stickles Rutherford.

Emil C. Hildebrand, Jr., 56, plant superintendent of Krementz & Co., Newark, N. J., manufacturing jewelers, by whom he was employed for 38 years, died Aug. 25 from a fractured skull suffered in a fall at his Irvington, N. J., home.

Krementz & Co., Newark, N. J., jewelry manufacturer, has named Carpenter-Proctor, Inc., Newark advertising agency, to handle its national and consumer trade advertising.

Although the strike of the jewelers at Krementz & Co.'s factory has not been declared off, nearly all of the men have gone back to work under the former conditions.
