John Round & Sons Kendulam Silver

Post by homefarmfarmgirl »

I have a large heavy Kendulam Silver Soup Ladle but I am having trouble with the marks and dating etc. The ladle is plain with no decoration other than shape of the neck at the bowl I think it is art deco but very understated. The only marks on the back are Kendulam Silver and P K & Co. All of the letters are seperated and in individual circles. My research got me as far as Kendulam being one of the many trading names of John Round & Sons but have not been able to get any clarity on the rest of the marks. I am not even sure if this is silver or plate. Any assistance or pointers in the right direction would be appreciated

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

You will have to upload your pictures to an online image hosting site. The following should help you:

https://postimages.org is recommended as an image host (after uploading your picture/s click 'Share', then copy and paste the 'Hotlink for forums' code to embed your images). Do not use Photobucket or Dropbox.

Please ensure that you embed your images rather than posting links and remember to use the 'Preview' button before submitting your post. If your images don't show up there we won't be able to see them either.
