Hello, yes, that is German. Though I cannot identify the maker (I am not even sure what mark I am seeing here) the other mark is German. The “Ln” in a half circle is the so-called “Laurin” guarantee mark, introduced in Germany in early 1934 and in use for a few years. It was used by a whole bunch of makers and retailers and was meant to guarantee a high standard of design and production of jewellery. On small or large silverware it was rarely used. As it was punched both on silver and gold items, as well as plated items, German jewellers were in heavy opposition to this mark and it’s use was disabandoned after a few years. So this piece can be dated 1934 to ca. 1938. Best wishes, Bahner

Dear Bahner!
Thanks for your help!
I tried to find that mark over internet, but no succes.Thank you!
You saying that you don`t know other mark, together with 800 silver mark, but is it still the same "Laurin", Is it?
Or "Laurin" was mark for many silver companies,so other mark with 800,its company mark.Is it?
Thanks in advance!

Hello and yes, the "Laurin" mark was used by many companies. The other is the unknown maker's mark. Best wishes, Bahner,

Hi Scarlett,

What part of the case did the magnet stick to? It is possible that some parts may be made of steel, such as the hinge pin or the clip spring.
