A local report has been published to the effect that the old-established jewellery firm, Messrs. S. & J. Cats, 518, Florida, Buenos Aires, has been obliged to suspend payment. They have been in business many years. The restrictive credit which has obtained in Buenos Aires has brought down a few other firms in that city. Business has been bad there for some time past, but is on the up grade again.
