PROVIDENCE
Mrs. Mary Aspray, of 34 Elbow St., this city, has received a telegram from the War Department stating that her son, William Aspray, a private of Company A, 165th Infantry, was severely wounded July 29. He was formerly employed at the Elmwood plant of the Gorham Mfg. Co.

The Shreve, Crump & Low Co., Inc., is displaying the Gillette Trophy cup. It is a mastership of sterling silver, worthy of arts museum exhibition, among the best examples of any country of historic times, executed by the Gorham Co. It is presented to promote American ship-mindedness through the drafting, construction and racing of one class model boats. It is valued at $3,000, standing 26 inches high. The form of the cup suggest the contour of the Greek vase of the Amphora type.

The historic bronze tablet marking the site of the old Col. Benjamin Church home on the north side of Constitution St., Bristol, R. I., which was unveiled last Wednesday afternoon by the Rhode Island Historical Society, was designed and cast by the Gorham Mfg. Co. in its bronze department at Elmwood.
