Need Help Identifying Possible German Hallmark

Post by mouthfulofbees »

Hi,
I am not sure if this is a German hallmark, but it appears similar to the marking for Berlin. I thought at first it was Scottish but I don't think the central image is a lion. The image in the center top appears to be a star. The letter 'A' appears on each side of the center image and the letter 'T' appears below the center image. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Scott

Hello, definitely not Berlin, rather looks like a French maker*s mark, possibly provincial, but this is way out of my line. Regards, Bahner

Thanks for your reply--I was able to find it in the French hallmarks. I appreciate the help. I never would have found it!
