H. Muhr’s Sons to be Incorporated Under Pennsylvania Laws

PHILADELPHIA, Pa., June 16.—As predicted in this journal last week, important changes are to be made in the personnel of the big retail house of H. Muhr’s Sons, 1110 Chestnut St. The business has been conducted solely by Jacob Muhr since the death of Harry Schimpff and the withdrawal of Ralph Binder from the firm.

An application for charter is to be made to the Governor of Pennsylvania, July 19, and the business will be conducted as a corporation at the old stand. The house will continue to trade under the firm name of H. Muhr’s Sons, and the incorporators will be Jacob Muhr, Ralph Binder, James H. Atkinson, Howard E. Young and C. William Funk.

Rumors of changes have been persistently circulated in the trade for some weeks, but the announcement was only officially made to-day.
