CHICAGO
L. A. Bergsman, associated with his father, J. A. Bergsman, in the representation of the Poole Silver Co. and the M. Fred Hirsch Co., left last Wednesday on a motor trip through the east. Mr. Bergsman will visit the trade and will pass some time at the home offices of the factories they represent, returning to Chicago about July 10.

Walter B. Snow, Boston agent of the Poole Silver Co., has removed to more spacious quarters on the eighth floor of the Jewelers building, the new room being on the Washington St. front of the annex. Henry W. Clark, dealer in watches and jewelry, and E. M. Wilder, engraver to the trade, who occupied part of the room formerly occupied by Mr. Snow, have accompanied him to his new location.

L. A. Bergsman, representing the Poole Silver Co., removed his offices from the fifth floor of the Kesner building to Room 605 of the same building.
The office is about the same in size but the location is better, being near the front of the elevators.

Leon A. Bergsman, who has been associated with his father, J. A. Bergsman, in the Chicago office of the Poole Silver Co., 5 N. Wabash Ave., will leave for New York and the east shortly, where he will visit the factory. Upon his return about the first of the new year he will have full charge of the Chicago trade, calling on them and giving them his personal attention.

The Poole Silver Co., of Taunton, Mass., had on display a complete line of its plated hollowware, consisting mostly of meat platters in all sizes, vegetable dishes, trays, vases, pitchers, shaving sets and bowls. This display was presided over by J. A. Bergsman.

Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Roemer of New York, announced last week the engagement of their daughter, Helen, to L. A. Bergsman of Chicago. Miss Roemer is visiting in Chicago for a few weeks, and during her stay here the announcement was made. Mr. Bergsman needs no introduction to the jewelry field through the East and Middle West. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Bergsman, Chicago, and is Chicago representative for the Poole Silver Co. The wedding will take place some time next June.
