Richards, whose partnership with his brother at Export Works, New Spring Street, Birmingham, was recently dissolved by mutual consent, has opened business as manufacturer of gilt and plated jewelry at 3, Key Hill Drive, Hockley, Birmingham. Mr. Richards has been travelling representative of the old firm of Joshua and Albert E. Richards since 1873.

B & O'N - Figure of Mercury/Hermes
Henry Bourne and Daniel Joseph O'Neill were in partnership from 1881 until 31st December 1886.
The firm entered their mark, 'B & O'N', contained within an oblong punch with clipped corners, with the Birmingham Assay Office in September 1881.

Obituary
Mr. Charles W. Willock
Mr. Charles William Willock, recognised as one of the most skilled finishers in the jewellery trade, died on 24th November, aged 60. He leaves a widow.
Mr. Willock was to have retired shortly as managing director of C. & E. Plating (Hockley) Ltd., Key Hill, Birmingham, a company he founded after the last war. Among the many pieces sent to him for gilding and polishing were mayoral chains and civic regalia. He also handled gold medals for the moon landings.
