Help identifying silversmith of a dozen Mexican silver goblets (mark RL)

Post by LauraBAI »

Grateful for any help folks might have.

My grandmother gave me this set of 12 goblets (7" high, 3" wide at the mouth of the goblet) but I cannot identify the silversmith.

I've looked through the Forum entries and the 925-1000.com database, but there doesn't appear to be any other mention of who "RL" - capital letters intertwined - might be.

thanks in advance for any hints!

Found someone online (not in these Forums) who helped me identify this as JLR intertwined ... Juvento Lopes Reyes.

Hello,

You were given correct information. JLR conjoined is Juvento Lopes Reyes. Great example of his great work.. very clean items. Pg 222 of Little Book. His work is highly collectable. I do have a pitcher made via JLR with conjoined letters.

Good luck,

Evil
