I can't puzzle out the signature on this jigger. Thanks in advance for any info!
Close up of the signature which is on the side near the top.
And I hate to be a bandwidth hog but the coin on the bottom looks so good - here are a couple more pics!

And here's the bottom
For bonus points, any guesses on what BCC or CBC is? Thanks!

Re: Signature on jigger - please help!
Welcome to the forum. The name is Schroth. They may still be in business in Montville, NJ. If so you could try contacting them for more information about this item. Good luck with your research.

Amazing! Thank you for the info....and so quickly!
Re: Signature on jigger - please help!
It could be the Cincinnati Ballroom Classic and that competition seems to have a professional category and an amateur category, which would explain the "Pro-Am" inscription?
Was this silver piece found in Ohio, by any chance?

The Bing Crosby Pro-Am was also known as "The Clambake"...might check to see if BCC or CBC was ever used.
Re: Signature on jigger - please help!
While research a trophy for the "Cal~Neva Lodge 1952 Golf Championship Two Man Team", I could not figure out where they played this. As it turns out, there is a celebrity link between the lodge and the Brockway Golf Course (aka Old Brockway). What's more is they claim that Crosby had his first "friends" type gathering at that nine-holer in 1934-5. Can't say if it was actually called a Pro-Am before the California gatherings of 1937. Brockway golf links may be connected to the older Brockway Hot Springs resort (origins back to 1880's and now a newer development-old buildings gone), but it has been a separate entity for at least thirty years now. Don't know if there was ever a country club (BCC?) or an official golf course name (BGC?).

~~>>Indication is that Wolfgang Schroth worked for Tiffany & Co. prior to opening his own firm. Cheryl previously placed the operating date as 1965 onward.
