Danish Patterns-Four Spoon set 1919 era.

Post by Traintime »

Three tower assay mark for 1919. CFH mark for master Christian F. Heise. No maker mark. Pretty sure this one has come up before, but not certain if a pattern identification was made?? At least this gives some dating. Best description..squiggly "S" like a snake. TIA

Cohr's 'Frederik the 8th' pattern, also produced by Fredericia Sølv (Fredericia Sølvindustri), but your spoons predate their founding.

Now the squigglies have meaning! I was beginning to think some upstart modernist wanted to commemorate a vacation trip to Stonehenge. But 8-balls for the dead guy makes more sense. I guess the odd outliers at the bottom aren't yellow "Peeps" in this case. Much thanks, Cheryl!!
