Tea strainer spoon help please

Post by Sterling911 »

Need help with date and manufacturer. Believe it to be a sterling tea strainer spoon. 4.5 inches long. I am really new at this so please bear with me.
3 symbols ( crab, anchor, C with a B inside) followed by etched " 500/21". Hopefully I put this in the correct category. Thank you

Btw.it is strainer, but hardly a tea strainer because of rather big holes in openwork.

Bon-Bon Spoon or Nut Spoon, used for serving candy Bon-Bons or nuts, so perhaps there was straining of tiny grains of salt and flakes of nuts. :::
