This lidded box has me a little stumped. It has an Indian look about it or possibly Middle East or maybe Cyprus it has the two marks shown, can anybody help me identify where it is from?

Persia (Iran), fineness 84 similar to Imperial Russian 84 Zolotnik.
Maker`s mark in Arabic (Farsi).
