MISS BIRKS'S WEDDING
Fiancee of Mr. L. C. Gillespie Erskine Selects Her Attendants
Mr. Louis C. Gillespie Erskine of 155 Riverside Drive, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wesley Erskine and grandson of the late Louis C. Gillespie of New York and Morristown, N. J., will marry Miss Miriam Wilkes Birks, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Massey Birks of 294 Stanley st., Montreal, on next Tuesday In the American Presbyterian Church, Montreal. Miss Birks will be attended by her sister, Miss Haricot Birks, and the Misses Daistry, Notman, Kathleen Darling of Montreal and Miss Helen Ersklne, sister of Mr. Erskine. The latter will have Mr. Ranald Chambers of New York as best man. The ushers will be the Messrs. Noble, Gerard Birks, brother of Miss Birks; Denman Cherry and Benjamin Cory.
Mr. Erskine left Princeton In 1917 to enlist in the navy. He developed pneumonia at Newport and was discharged. On recovering he reenlisted in the army and served as instructor In machine gunnery.
