ADB stands for Adolph Barsach Davis (London 1927-1936; imported items), see: https://www.silvermakersmarks.co.uk/Mak ... AC.html#AB
Date letter "q" would be for 1931 in London, but I'm not that well aware of how imported items were hallmarked as there are no other British hallmarks. The round mark is probably the maker's mark but I couldn't find a match. My guess would be that it's from Germany.

Hi,
The mark on the right of sponsor`s (importer) mark is London Assay Office mark used on imported silver after 1904.

Hi all,

the round mark confirms that it's imported from Ireland.

Sorry i'm mistaken: not ''imported from Ireland'' but Irish mark for imports ;-)

Where did you get the info about Ireland? At least here https://www.925-1000.com/importmarks the mark is for London and the sponsor ABD was based in London too (I should have checked this when I noticed that the item was imported).

Dear Sasropakis, first I would say "Hello"!

Then, I suggest Ireland thanks to Tardy:

What is surprising is that this hallmarks are for London imports from Ireland for 1958 (and sorry again, my first answer was the good one: "imported from Ireland" and not "Irish mark for imports"... My english undestanding and knowledge again, sorry about that...)

Sorry guys!

Please apologise: Tardy shows this marks under Ireland but make a referral to another part of the book! Now everything is clear and confirmed!

Unfortunately I can not edit my previous posts...

Hi,

Just to confirm, these are London import marks from 1931. The import marks stuck in the UK offer no information as to the country of origin.
