Looking for spoon origin

Post by juantotree »

Hi

Can anyone help me in identifying this table spoon? It is struck three times with a makers mark of EO, the middle one being quite worn and at an angle to the other two.

Many Thanks
Martin

Hi Martin what’s the back of the spoon like? Also is it a slightly celtic pointed spoon?

Matt.

Hi Matt

I have added a couple of images of the back of the spoon. To me it appears to have some of the characteristics of a celtic point and old English.
