He registered this mark - FAB with a pestle - in 1819, succeeding his father. No cancellation date for the mark is recorded, but he is last listed in the Paris Directory of 1832. The work of both father and son are of very good quality, but it is to be noted that they were not related to the famous later 19th century firm Adolphe Boulenger & Cie.
