Hi all.
This soup ladle came in with the 3 captain's spoons I have also posted here today and yesterday so am guessing it may be from a similar region, the wavy line looking marks I have also in the past seen on captain's spoons.
It has a mark on the front side of terminal which is either FW or JW, anyone recognise?
Reverse side of stem has what maybe a town or city mark as well as a mark CV, anyone recognise?
I am guessing this will date to c.1820-1830 or so.
As ever any assistance greatly appreciated.

Re: Unknown Soup Ladle
Hi, Berlin around 1809. FW; Prussian tax duty/levy mark. The Prussian levy mark used between 1809-1812 for older & used silver objects on which a tax of approx. 33% was paid. With this tax, the Prussians financed their war reparations to France.
Maker's mark CV perhaps for Carl Vogel. Let us wait for the reply of Theodrich.
