these photos are too blurry to form an opinion.
The initial letters under the lion in majesty should belong to an assayer, not a silversmith.
In any case, in the repertoires of Venetian marks there is no mention of any mark with the letters V.P, and, as far as I remember, I do not seem to have ever encountered it.

This would not be a big problem, given that we are far from having cataloged all the Venetian marks.
It must be said, however, that the Venetian silvers of all eras are the most falsified of all. It is therefore good to carefully analyze the execution of the artifact to verify if the working technique corresponds to an eighteenth-century object.
