904 MI Italy Silversmith Identification

Good day all. I bought this tiger's eye and only los with an italian 800 silver tiger on top. Marked 800, then a 5 pointed star, 904 MI. I know MI is Milan, the star after 1968 but I can't find the silversmith assigned 904 MI. Difficult getting a decent photo of the mark. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The registration number 904 MI was assigned to 'Di Nanno Salvatore Arte del Quarzo' of Milano.

Regarding the Italian maker, I note this:

L'arte Del Quarzo di di Nanno Alberto Bruno
Via Niccolò Copernico 4/a
20060 Pozzo d'Adda (MI)
Italia

This is perhaps the likely successor to the maker of your item.

Regarding the books, for those registered at London, then John Culme's excellent 'The Directory of Gold & Silvermiths, Jewellers and Allied Traders - 1838-1914' Vols 1 & 2, would be a fine addition to your collection.
