Strange old cup

Not sure where this is from and I was hoping somebody might have some suggestions. Probably 17/18th century. As it has no markings, the best I can hope for is somebody might recognize the strange almost oriental decoration. My limited knowledge of ball footed cups has them ranging from Scandinavia down through Hungary but most prevalent in Germany. I hold little hope but I figured it can't hurt to ask. It measures about 3.75" tall by 3.25" wide
