Coin Silver Spoon - JB

Post by hpidaves »

Hello,
I have some 8-1/8" spoons that I am pretty sure are coin. They are marked on the front of the handle at the top with two marks -- "JB" inside a square and the profile of a person inside a flower shape. There appears to be a "3" and a "P" inside the flower shape as well.

Any ideas as to make and if they are indeed coin?

Thanks,
Dave

Hi,
It is Austria-Hungary Empire Diana`s head used 1867- 1922;if you identified letter P then it is Budapest assay office.Number 3 stands for .800 standard.
Take a look here:
