Postby madej » Sat Jun 06, 2020 4:04 pm

Hi
What do you think Is it Austria-Hungary, the Austrian Empire, Russia or something else?
There is no sign on silver, it may have been blurred.

Probably Ottoman or Balkan looking at filigree style.

Hi,
Many silversmiths from Balkan countries were trained in Austria-Hungary and when returned back home imported spoons and added their own filigree which was fashionable at the time. This spoon is mid 19th century.
