Please help identify silver hallmark, maker's mark.

Hi,
Danzig (now Gdansk in Poland). Letter ``L`` was used by different Beschaumeister (assayer) until late 18th century.

AG2012 is correct.
There are several assay masters in the 18th century signing with various forms of the letter L. However, the specific form of L on the object is attributed by E. von Czihak to Johann Constantin Lange, alderman 1755, 1761, (E. von Czihak, Die Edelschmiedekunst früherer Zeiten in Preussen, Leipzig 1908, Teil III, Danzig, p. 45, Nebenzeichen XVII). E. v. Czihak shows also a master MS: Michael Schleich (Schleuch), b. 1707, master 1743, alderman 1757, 1765, 1769, d. 1775. (p. 79, no. 466). Interestingly, E. v.Czihak indicates that M. Schleich made "an oval bowl, driven, marked 1777, in rococo style ", with the alderman letter L of Johann Lehnhardt, alderman 1771, 1775, 1779. The time period is therefore consistent.
There are, however, uncertainties. The maker's mark shown by E. v. Czihak is slightly different from the one in the photograph, particularly the letter M, but I have not found in the relevant time period another master MS in Danzig. There is another alderman with a similar letter L, Johann Adam Lang(e), alderman 1768, 1772, 1776, 1786, 1790 (Nebenzeichen XXIII) but close inspection indicates that the L of Johann Constantin Lange is the closest match. Finally, the rococo bowl is indicated as marked 1777, but Michael Schleich is reported as having died in 1775.
Unfortunately I cannot be more positive.
