Unknown 925 Hallmark with Eagle Head

Hi everyone,

This is another piece from my collection. It is a lovely small owl pin cushion which has 3 very small hallmarks situated under its base. The first is the stamped letters 925 then there is a picture of a Birds (eagle I think) head with 925 underneath that and then some kind of Heraldic Shield.

If anyone has any information on the meaning of these hallmarks, i.e. Origin, date, maker etc I would be very grateful.

The owl seems to be from Portugal and town of Porto (picture little unclear). I would estimate that it is fairly recent production.

Hello!

This is, possibly because the picture is not very clear, a Portiguese mark, from Lisbon, and has to be after 1972.

Lisbon left and Porto right, you can compare these to your silver owl mark.
