Sterling Silver Tray - Unusual Hallmarks

This is a large tray.
Size is 15 x 11
It weighs over 2 lbs.
I picked it up yesterday and the person said it was french, which i'm not sure about, since she also said it was plated.

The hallmarks look to me like:

bear or small ax with an "N' and "$" in a diamond shape.
square with unidentifiable marks in side
a leaf of some sort.

It's unusual that the hallmarks are on the front.
they also stamped it in so hard, that the reverse mark shows on the underside of the tray.

there aren't any other marks on it.

Hi,

It's Austrian.

Embedding your images, rather than using thumbnails, will result in a lot more people looking at them.

Thanks so much!

Does this look like 925 or 800 to you?

I had it tested as sterling, but maybe the test couldn't tell the difference between the purities?

re images, great feedback. i used a hosting service, you can click the image to go to a bigger image on their site.
can you suggest or point me to a link on how to embed the image?

Purity is 800, maker is Vinzenz Carl Dub, Vienna, mark: oak leaf and acorn.

The letter contained within the 'Toucan' mark appears as perhaps a 'K' - Klagenfurt, and is stuck on 800 silver.
