Help identifying a cup or goblet

This cup has been in the family many years. Some claim it goes back to 1700s, but looks more like 19th century to me. It has only two hallmarks, one is likely a hand, the other is a horses or dragons head "erased." There are no markings of silver, or sterling fineness. The base appears to be spun. The cup is about 4.75 inches (12cm) tall.

It has only two hallmarks, one is likely a hand, the other is a horses or dragons head "erased." There are no markings of silver, or sterling fineness, but it has the look and feel of coin silver. The base appears to be spun. The cup is about 4.75 inches (12cm) tall.
If 18th century, the potential family member was in France, c1759; Hannover, Germany, c1760-63; Great Britain, perhaps 1763-5; Perhaps Malta 1760s-] 1774, maybe even the island of Grenada in the Caribbean after 1765-1774.

I know this is older post however when doing research have found hallmarks which may help in determining age or marker of this item. Here are photo of item.
