Hi guy's I have this salt cellar witch I can't figure out the country and period that it is from. Please help.
It's Florence, 1832 - 1872

The July 21, 1832, the Grand Duke revoke the provisions of 22.1.1817 and subsequent, keeping at the Customs of Florence, Pisa and Siena a public assayer licensed to certify, with the apply of a mark, the fineness of artifacts They will be presented spontaneously. In this way punching it is made optional.
