Dear experts, is it possible to determine the manufacture place and time for that fork. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Elena,

Pistol grip fork Dutch in appearance.

Perhaps with the use of our imagination and an overdose of positive thinking , only based on the shape of the cartouche, we could be looking at a Dutch standard mark; the crown for 11 penningen 5 grein, used during the Kingdom of Holland 1807-1812.

If so the other mark should be the remaining of an oval cartouche or office mark.
For more information see hallmarks Kingdom of Holland.
