Austrian Secessionist Cigarette Box

Postby Granmaa » Thu Nov 20, 2014 10:30 am

Here's a really nicely designed cigarette box, which I have been able to work out comes from Vienna, probably c.1900. Can anyone help me with the other marks?

Reading through some former posts I see that the A mark (stamped twice) is
struck on Vienna silver after 1866, either on small or detachable pieces, but sometimes even to soldered parts (e.g. tea or sugar caddy legs)
. Thanks AG2012.

I'm still looking for the maker. It look like there's an 8 between the A and the other letter. Any ideas?
