Good evening, thank you for the information but I wanted to know the country where it was produced the cruet and not the one where it was imported between 1822 and 1824 (Tardy).
Again, thank you for your kindness,
Guido

I ran across this, and thought it was answered. Does the set test silver?

Here is a novel answer for you. If it was the Netherlands or Scandinavian I would think Oel would have answered. That is an area that uses numbers and letters, but that isn't Swedish. Then if it was German Theo would know, and I don't find the marks on his site. I only know parts of Switzerland but lets rule that out anyway. You know what's left, Guido, Italy. I couldn't find it in my books, but Lucca did use a G. and numbers and letters are found together. I don't think there has been a comprehensive study of Italian marks. Any engraving, even scratch engraving which would give a hint? It would be funny if it was Italian.

Hi Maurice,
I answer so late because I was out of the office.
The title of silver is around the 800/1000 if it was some Italian ... that lean figure.
As you know, I am familiar of Marks silverware Sicily, in fact even Turin and Pola have used letters and numbers in the marks but I do not have books about it.
Thanks again for Your competence and courtesy.
I bought two French salt cellars as soon as I arrive I will ask your intervention to get more details.
How do you figure collection of cruets and salt shakers.
Best regards,
Guido
