Italian marks - which years?

Hi all!
I have a very nice little candy bowl from Italy. Hallmarks: the St.Mark lion, 800, and clipped lozenge with the silversmith code (unfortunately unreadable), “fascio” and the town code “VI” (?) — Vicenza.

From various sources it is known that the Venetian St.Mark lion was used until 1812, "800" without the oval lines around number was used until 1934, and the clipped lozenge with "fascio" was used in 1934-1944. QUESTION: when was made my bowl?
Maybe our Italian friends would help me? Be grateful for any hints.

Hi,

The mark that is now unreadable would have read 29 VI, it identifies the maker Aurelio Sandonà.

You item was made during the period 1935 (registered 14-7-35) -1944

To find more details regarding Aurelio Sandonà go to: viewtopic.php?f=38&t=27003&start=105

If you could please post some clearer images of the two outer marks, it would be so useful for the Encyclopedia.

Dognose, many thanks for the very interesting information! But the question remains: to which years the St. Mark lion was used? Unfortunately, the St. Mark lion stamps on my bowl is not too clear. These photos - the best that I can do :-(.

Hi Alex
be careful not to confuse the mark of the S. Mark lion (said "in moleca") of the republic of Venice, mint guarantee until 1811, with the mark that appears on your sugar bowl. Many companies in the Veneto region have used and still use the S. Mark's lion as a trademark, on objects of silver or silverplate. As an example see the attached photo of the Fratelli Bello' of Padua (9 PD recorded 05/08/1935)
