Beaker 4 inches tall; guilloche décor without enamel. ``Radelpunze`` for Vienna 1810 and ``Taxfrei`` mark, maker`s mark ``TS`` or ``ST``?
``Radelpunze`` (Wheelmark) of this form was used between 1807 and 1814.
The mark for 1807 was in use until 1809, the mark for 1810 was used until 1812. Consequently, all items bearing the year marks of 1808, 1809, 1811, and 1812 can be regarded as fakes.
Guillochage is the act of cutting geometric patterns in a rotating metal surface with a stationary cutting tool called a rose engine. Translucent enamel can be applied over guilloché metal.

Rose engines are not to be confused with ``engine turning `` (a much cheaper process).
