It's of Swedish origin.

The three crowns are in an oval rather than a trefoil (cat's paw), indicating that it's an item imported to Sweden rather than Swedish-made. I seldom click on thumbnails, but from what I can see, would guess perhaps Dutch or German origin.

»Three Swedish crowns mark«, in an oval cartouche = Import mark, after 1912

Hello Cheryl

Many thanks for this very important correction!

This very important fact is missing in »925-1000« general info on Sweden.

Yes, of course it isn't the usual »Three Swedish crowns mark«, in an »trefoil« cartouche; or as you say »pawns« cartouche.

During the night I was stupid; only wondering on this kind of item; like with more »Hanau« then »Swedish« appearances. Since days we have + 37 ºC - so I wasn't concentrated enough; sorry.

But here with I've learned too. Swedish »Import« mark after 1912 is in an Oval.

Thank you Cheryl, for yours watchfulness and correction!

Kind regards silverport

Thank you very much, dear sirs!

The Swedish marks is familiar to me, and in this case I am more interested in the stamp "Ermay", which probably is put over the other mark (this is only my supposition).

And I have one more question. What is this article? What it intended for? I doubt whether that the item with such design is bowl for the fruit or sweets. Dimensions of article: height - 3,5cm, length - 28cm, width - 19cm.

Hello

Better late than ever. This mark ERMAY is at it is and there is no "overs tamp". The problem, however, is that it is not known for sure from where it origins. A good guess would be Germany. Sorry, but that's all I know.
