Unknown marks on box

I struggled to find the marks on this snuff box. Finally I located a completely (unknown to me) mark on the outside of the rim.

D POUSSE (I think that's an "E" at the end.

Another mark on the other side that I cannot make out at all.

Any help appreciated.

Your snuff box is French. Please have a look at Claude Doutre Roussel. The mark looks similar.
