Help!

Postby Clo » Tue Jul 29, 2008 1:51 pm

Hi!...
Excuse my English is not very good.
These pieces belong to the Museum of Decorative Arts of Chile, but have not been identified.
I think they are in Austria. But it is not very clear.
If they can help me appreciate a lot.

Greetings and Thanks.

I can't help you here, but it would help the rest of us if you choose a post title more descriptive than "Help", "Help, please...", etc. Describing the marks and the object are a good way to title your requests.

Vienna, 1806. The maker "AK" with this distinctive mark (the "A" having a v-shaped bar) has not been identified, although Waltraud Neuwirth's fine (and beautiful!) book Wiener Silber 1781-1866 states that examples by this maker dating from 1801-1809 are in museums in both Vienna and Budapest.
