Unknown marks

Post by jsutto18 »

Hello,

I have a spoon and a fork with these AGG marks on them:

also, they have an AC monogram on the handle

On the internet I've found absolutely no information regarding the provenience of these items - either they are continental 800 silver, or silver plated or plain fakes.

I would be grateful if someone could share some knowledge.

Thank you.

Hi,
The mark looks genuine to me although I cannot determine the provenance (country of origin). Could be Italy, Germany .....
Hand engraved monogram is too much trouble for fakers.

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

That looks like a Cesa mark.
