2 July 1716 John son of John Cannans of the parish of Lambeth in the County of Surrey labourer apprenticed to Thomas Jemmett clockmaker of London. I cannot decipher everything on this contract, but 1720 with the name Isaac Edwards (Grimwade p.301) and in another note 1728 are legible and may relate to a turnover and freedom.
